Cogeneration systems

What is cogeneration?

Cogeneration is the process of producing electricity and heat simultaneously within a single process. Since the energy contained in the fuel is used far more efficiently than in separate generation processes, users benefit from lower and more stable electricity and heating costs.

We offer end-to-end delivery of cogeneration systems – from initial concept and design through to construction, operation and servicing.

We deliver cogeneration units with capacities of up to 1 MW, as well as large-scale installations of up to 5 MW, depending on the size and needs of the project.

An integrated approach to energy generation

Cogeneration systems deliver the greatest benefits in facilities with simultaneous demand for electricity and heat. Integrating both processes within a single source enables:

  • maximum utilisation of the energy contained in the fuel,
  • reduction of energy losses,
  • enhanced energy security for the facility,
  • lower operating costs.

Key benefits

SVG
Higher energy efficiency

Using a single fuel source to generate both electricity and heat substantially improves the efficiency of the system.

SVG
Fuel savings and lower energy costs

In conventional systems, heat produced during electricity generation is frequently wasted. Cogeneration removes these inefficiencies by making effective use of one fuel source to produce two forms of energy.

SVG
Lower CO₂ emissions and reduced pollution

Higher efficiency results in lower fuel consumption and a reduced environmental footprint for the project.

SVG
Enhanced security of supply

A local energy source reduces reliance on external suppliers and improves resilience against network disruptions.

SVG
Alignment with your business profile

Each system is designed around the project’s energy consumption profile and operational requirements.

Cogeneration in the context of the energy transition

Against a backdrop of changing market and regulatory conditions, cogeneration systems have become one of the most effective methods of increasing energy efficiency. They combine economic benefits with environmental responsibility, supporting organisations in achieving their energy transition goals.
