An electricity purchasing product based on indexing the purchase price to exchange quotations of futures contracts, in proportion to the planned consumption volume [MW]. Designed for customers with expertise in energy market analysis.
VEO Business is intended for customers who:
- aim to optimise electricity purchasing costs within their budgets by taking advantage of price volatility,
- have an understanding of the electricity market and are able to analyse market conditions independently and make informed purchasing decisions,
The contract allows customers to make their own purchasing decisions. By placing an instruction, the customer determines both the timing and the contract volume to be hedged through wholesale purchases on the Polish Power Exchange (TGE), enabling the optimal selection of the contract’s commercial parameters. Any differences between the contracted volume and the actual consumption volume (whether surplus or deficit) are settled at Day-Ahead Market (DAM) prices, based on hourly spot prices published by the Polish Power Exchange (TGE).
